Hey! I'm Laurina & owner of Miss Flamingo, based in Brisbane QLD.

Miss Flamingo (previously Laurina Jean Retro) started back in 2014, created from a love & lack of 50s fashion. I started with only $500 worth of stock, hoping to get pre-orders at a Rockabilly Market, grew the business with an online presence until I took a chance and leased a shop for 3 days in Newcastle back in 2016 - thus is where our Pop Up Shops were created.

Pop up shops are my passion, I hate sitting still and I love that I can bring my website to you. My little business of just me has grown & we now travel Australia hosting Pop Up shops from as far north as Cairns to as far south as Geelong. Our upcoming shops are listed on our Facebook events. We have been embracing curves since day one & now proudly stock sizes 8-28uk (6-26au) as we believe that everybody deserves to feel beautiful - no matter your body shape or size, we have designs for you.

Our brands nineteen50, Laurina Jean Retro & Miss Flamingo are designed by & are exclusive to us. We specialise in short runs (so if you fall in love, buy it!!) meaning that once it's sold out, it's sold out. When you buy a frock you are buy 1 of only 100 made. It keeps stock coming in, frequently which means more variety for you!
